RIM has gotten back on track from there service downfall and have released new upgraded smart phones

After the recent technical glitches that millions of Blackberry users were facing RIM gave out free apps to its fellow customers to apologize to the poor service. On Tuesday Research In Motion got a boost on a rare analyst upgrade and after the BlackBerry maker unveiled a pair of upgraded handsets. BlackBerry shares rose as much as $1.10, or 5.9 per cent, to hit $19.70 in Toronto after RIM launched the BlackBerry Bold 9790 and the BlackBerry curve 9380. RIM was able to increase there shares every since the technical glitches that RIM had faced in the last month. RIM also said its cloud-based BBM Music service is being rolled out in the U.K after being launched in the U.S, Canada, and Australia earlier this month. The new BlackBerry bold 9790 now offers a keyboard, expandable memory, and a high-resolution touch display. The new curve 9380 offers a new keyboard as well that is the first to be replaced by a touch display. It also already comes with pre-installed networking apps that include BlackBerry messenger, facebook and twitter. RIM also has new handsets that expand line-up of devices running on its BlackBerry 7 operating systems. This is happening so RIM can move to a more powerful platform based on software.

RIM shares have been bumped to $26 from $18 and have been doing well. RIM continues to add costumers. At the same time the company has seen share prices collapse due to the significant share loss in the U.S to Android smart phones and Apple device. In order for RIM to be competitive,  they must lower prices on its handsets and enjoy market advantages in near-field technology. RIM has been able to get back on track by improving their service and regained their customer's trust. At the same time RIM has come up with new smart phones and handsets to not let down their customers.
